External visit of the eight Unesco sites (the San Vitale Basilica, the Galla Placidia Mausoleum, S.Apollinare Nuovo, S.Apollinare in Classe, Arian and Neonian Baptisteries, the Archiepiscopal Chapel, the Teodorico Mausoleum) Dante Alighieri's Tomb, the Domus dei Tappeti di Pietra. Suggested lunch stop at the Darsena Popup. Dinner and overnight stay in Ravenna in 3* hotel.
RAVENNA - BAGNACAVALLO Km 55. Breakfast and departure towards MARINA DI RAVENNA, riding through the old pinewoods and the piallassa (lagoon and natural reserve) Piomboni. Then, once arrived at the pialassa Baiona, stop at the birdwatching tower. After that ride towards the Comacchio Valleys, arriving at the Boscoforte peninsula, ancient moors of Etruscan age that encompass a precious and rare environment, ideal habitat of many different bird species: flamingos, spoonbills, pied avocets, shelducks, black-winged stilts, little grebes and black-necked grebes. Lunch at Le Spighe Non Solo Piadine in Alfonsine. Following ride to Bagnacavallo with dinner and overnight stay.
BAGNACAVALLO - BOLOGNA. Optional stop at ERRANO-BRISIGHELLA-RIOLO TERME depending on the time of departure from Bologna.
