DAY 1
Arrival and check-in at the agriturismo.
In the afternoon, there’s a pleasant circular trek toward Gamogna (around 7 km):
We’ll drive to the starting point along the local road for about 3.5 km, as far as the paved turn-off signposted for the Hermitage, where parking is available.
The route passes through Rovetola and leads to the enchanting Gamogna Hermitage, set in the quiet of the woods, before returning along the evocative Cemetery path.
DAY 2
A day dedicated to the excursion to the famous Acquacheta Waterfall, one of the most iconic spots in the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennines. A demanding route of around 20 km, recommended for experienced walkers.
From the agriturismo we’ll set off by car along the local road (around 4 km) as far as Podere Val di Noce. From here we’ll begin the trek through panoramic landscapes: the gas pipeline road, Fontana Bianca, Coloreto and the striking Sentiero dell’Inferno, until we reach Pian Baruccioli and the Acquacheta Waterfall.
The return route takes in Baruccioli, Fontanacce, Cortecce, Preda and the Sentiero dei Solami; we’ll cross the pass leading to the Gamogna Hermitage before continuing along the Chestnut Grove path.
DAY 3
After breakfast, departure for a pleasant circular trek toward Trebbana, the perfect way to end your stay immersed in the tranquillity of the Apennines. An easy route of around 4 km.
We’ll drive to Ponte della Valle, where we’ll begin the trek along the gravel road leading to Trebbana, through woodland and rural views of authentic charm. The route then continues toward Quercia and loops back to Ponte della Valle.
Return in the afternoon.
